As We Like It

The "As We Like It" group started at Bethel on September 22nd. The group at the moment is made up of 6 ladies, along with Heather, Dawn, Brian and myself. The group meets on a Thursday and we enjoy refreshments, quizzes, singing and various other activities. We have had 2 trips to the Caerphilly Garden Centre, along with our Christmas lunch in the Cedar Tree. The aim of the group is to reach out and nuture those in the area who do not yet know Jesus. On December the 15th we all enjoyed our first carol service at Bethel.

I know that God has really blessed us, and our prayer for 2006 is that we shall continue to reach out a hand of love to people, for this is God's work.

We meet from 10.30 until 2.00. This group is trying to reach out to the older generation; we have plans for the coming year e.g day's out at the seaside, walks with a pub lunch, people being invited to come and join us and feel free to talk to us about almost anything as long as it makes us laugh.

Motorway News

The Motorway group is now changing its meeting times from Thursday to Wednesday. We will meet between 5.00 and 6.00pm.

We're starting back on 26th September and running for 5 sessions up until half term. After half term we're starting the children's choir for those who want to take part in our Christmas play

Our youth club with a twist! We aim to get you thinking each week and have fun at the same time. Tuck shop usually available.

Ladies Fellowship

A ladies Bible study group aimed at helping one another understand scipture and how it applies to our lives.

Family Housegroup

A child friendly zone where they can play while the grown-ups discuss Bible and Christian questions.

As We Like It

Enjoy coffee, tea, quizzes, hand massage, old time singing, lunch and various other activities.

Stories and games to help us learn more about God, Jesus and the Bible.

Friday Morning Prayer

A chance to bring our concerns and praise to God in a group setting.

Musical Tots

An hour of singing, action rhymes and dance for pre-school children and their carers. (Drinks and biscuits provided).
