From
the M4:
Leave
the M4 at Junction 32 and travel north on the A470, signposted
to Merthyr Tydfil. Leave the A470 at the second junction,
taking the A468, signposted to Caerphilly. Pass the GEAES
plant on the left, and reach a roundabout at the top of the
hill. Take the second exit, signposted A468 towards Newport.
Coming up to the next roundabout, you will pass a school on
the left. Turn left (first exit) at the roundabout, signposted
to Abertridwr. The road goes down a dip, and as it comes up
again, you will see Bethel Baptist Church on the left - a
yellow building with a blue roof. There is a car park to the
left of the church.
From
Caerphilly centre:
The
one-way system ensures that if you are coming from Caerphilly
mountain, railway station or shops, you will end up approaching
the "Picadilly" crossroads and traffic lights, so
named because of the pub opposite you and on the left. Go
straight across, following the sign to Ystrad Mynach. However,
immediately after the traffic lights, there is a left turn
called Mill Road. Take this road (it takes you behind the
"Picadilly" pub) and keep going straight. You will
pass a set of traffic lights which allows single lane traffic
under a narrow railway bridge, and, a bit further on, you
will come to a mini-roundabout, with the Bowls Inn on your
right. Turn left at the mini-roundabout, and Bethel Baptist
Church is almost immediately in front of you, on the right-hand
side of the road - a yellow building with a blue roof. There
is a car park to the left of the church.
